Fred Warnick was a young American working in Korea in the 1960s. He met and married Sulja Lee and had two children, Angela and Gina, while in Korea. They chose to live in Korea for five years because he promised his mother-in-law that they would live in Korea while she was alive and they wanted to expose the children to Korean culture and language. He hoped and desired for his children to embrace both their Korean and Jewish cultures fully. His love and respect for Korea and Korean culture is evident in his story.
