Michael McDonald – Love/Hate Project
Michael McDonald was adopted to the U.S. at 3 months old. When he visited Korea in 2007, Michael learned that he was named after the hospital he was born in. He shares that for adoptees, believing in yourself is most important when dealing with feelings of alienation from societies that don’t accept you.
This is the fourth installment in the Love/Hate series of the Legacy Project, highlighting the Korean Adoptee experience, and the connection to mental health.
