Kevin Kreider
Kevin Kreider is a model, actor, and entrepreneur who was adopted from Korea and raised in Philadelphia by German-Irish Catholic parents. Growing up in a community where adoption was normalized but identity was rarely discussed, he struggled to understand where he belonged—facing racism, confusion, and the feeling of never being “Asian enough” or “American enough.”
His path through modeling and reality TV brought its own challenges, including self-hatred and a desire to conform. But through his role on Netflix’s Bling Empire, Kevin began embracing his Korean heritage and speaking openly about mental health, sobriety, and identity. Today, he’s the co-founder of ALLS Productions, a company dedicated to Asian-led love stories, and SANS, a non-alcoholic beverage brand inspired by his recovery journey.
His mission remains clear: to give back through storytelling, community, and advocacy—especially for adoptees and those still learning to love themselves.
The Hollywood series celebrates 16 stories of Korean Americans working in the entertainment industry, which continues to grow towards more authentically diverse storytelling and leadership. The individuals who were interviewed exemplify what success can look like outside of conventional career paths, destigmatizing the starving artist narrative. The common thread between these actors, screenwriters, producers and designers in the field is the importance of perseverance, even if coming from a place of, what some have called, “delusion.”
The Legacy Project Hollywood series is made possible with financial support from The Korean American Foundation and the YS Kim Foundation, in partnership with The Korean American Leaders in Hollywood.
