My name is Karen Kim. I am a second generation Korean American originally from Atlanta, GA. I currently live in NYC and serve as a board member of KoreanAmericanStory.org.

Like many Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) across the country, we at KoreanAmericanStory.org are left shaken and mourning as there continues to be an uptick in anti-AAPI violence and hate. We mourn together over the recent tragedy in Atlanta where 8 people were killed—six of whom were Asian, including four women of Korean origin.

Thomas Park Clement is the founder, president and CEO of Mectra Labratories, Inc., a bio-technology company that manufactures a wide variety of laparoscopic disposable surgical instruments. Thomas is the inventor behind the technical instruments and holds 41 U.S. Patents.
