The event took place at the lovely Tribeca Rooftop and hosted by talented and lovely Vivian Lee. Dan Phai was our auctioneer who was kind enough to fly out from Los Angeles to help us out!
Trailblazer Honorees
Sandra Oh
Sandra’s award winning work in television, film and theater has been groundbreaking for the visibility she has brought to roles for Asian actors. Her compelling performances on Grey’s Anatomy have earned her a Golden Globe award, Screen Actors Guild awards and multiple Emmy nominations.
Dumbfoundead
Born in Buenos Aires to Korean Immigrants, Smuggled into Mexico, raised in K-town LA, Dumbfoundead is a Korean American hip-hop artist who has gained wide international recognition. Nearly 400K YouTube fans from all over the globe are hooked on Dumbfoundead’s hip-hop music and lifestyle.
Thomas Park-Clement
Thomas came to the US in 1958, among the first wave of Korean adoptees from the Korean War period. He overcame many obstacles and is now CEO of a medical device company, holds 32 patents and is passionate about supporting medical clinics and orphanages in North Korea and Malawi.
