Jay Oh

Jay Oh is the Senior Director of Arts and Culture at the Korea Society. She has worked in publishing and non-profit art organizations in Greensboro, N.C., Minneapolis, and New York.

Vivian Lee

Vivian Lee is an Emmy-winning TV journalist in New York. She has anchored and reported for NY1 and WNBC and currently works as a correspondent for CUNY-TV as a correspondent for Asian American Life. Born and raised in Toronto, Vivian joined the KAS board in 2017 and lives in New York with her husband and two daughters.

Jeanne Jang

Jeanne Jang is currently the Head of New Business Ventures at JP Morgan Chase, chairs the Asian Leadership Forum at the Commercial & Investment Bank, and is a board member of Wave Hill. She has previously held key positions at E*TRADE and IBM. Jeanne graduated from Smith College with a degree in Biology and received her MBA from Yale University. Outside of work, Jeanne enjoys traveling – whether it’s visiting national parks with her husband John and son Owen, or her parents in Korea.

Grace Lee

Grace Lee is the US Head of AML and Fraud Investigations at UBS. Previously, she worked as the Head of Intelligence, Financial Crimes Compliance at Standard Chartered Bank. Before transitioning into banking, Grace was a prosecutor at the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the New York County District Attorney’s Office. Grace received her J.D. from the Boston University School of Law and her B.A. in Public Policy and Political Science from Brown University. Grace currently resides in New Jersey with her husband David and enjoys spending time with her three wonderful daughters Sofia, Olivia and Ava.

Joy Wheeler

Joy Wheeler is a seasoned tech professional with over 15 years of experience in tech startups specializing in operations, sales, partnerships, and real estate. She has held leadership roles at prominent companies like DoubleClick and Freewheel, contributing to significant industry changes. Currently, Joy runs her own consulting firm, helping startups navigate growth challenges and optimize team dynamics. Originally from Korea, she now lives in Hoboken, NJ, with her family. When not working, Joy enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with loved ones, and supporting causes for underprivileged children.

Thomas Park Clement

Thomas Park Clement was the founder, president and CEO of Mectra Laboratories, Inc., a bio-technology company that manufactured a wide variety of laparoscopic disposable surgical instruments. Thomas is the inventor behind the technical instruments and holds 41 U.S. patents. He is currently president CEO of Acroventions Laboratories LLC, an R&D company. Additionally, Thomas is a humanitarian who has supported missions to North Korea and Africa, and has supported various Korean adoptee groups throughout the U.S., Europe, and Korea. Born in Korea in the midst of the Korean War, Thomas was adopted by the Clement family from Charlotte, NC in 1958.

Theresa Choh-Lee

Theresa Choh-Lee co-founded Korean American Story and is a seasoned brand management executive. Currently, she is the US Brand Director for Range Rover. Previously, she held leadership roles at renowned companies like LIXIL, Unilever, and Kraft. Born in Korea and raised in Ohio, Theresa is passionate about celebrating her bicultural identity. She is also a founding member of HA:N United Methodist Church, a progressive Asian American queer-celebrating church. In her free time, Theresa enjoys outdoor activities like baking, running, and hiking.

John C. Kim

John C. Kim is the founder and managing partner of JCKLAW, a boutique New York City law firm focusing on debt resolution, immigration, bankruptcy and real estate work. He holds a B.A. in English literature from Boston University and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law. John currently lives life as an aging hipster dad in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and two children. When not busy running his practice (and running after his kids), in his spare time – of which there is practically none – he operates Persimmon Films LLC, a movie making company.

Diana Son

Diana Son is an Emmy-nominated writer/producer for television and an award-winning playwright. She is an executive producer on the forthcoming Amazon TV series “Butterfly” starring Daniel Dae Kim. She has been a writer/producer on acclaimed shows “Genius: Aretha,” “Thirteen Reasons Why,” and “American Crime,” after starting her TV career on “The West Wing.” Diana is also the author of the plays “Stop Kiss”, “Satellites”, “BOY”, “Fishes”, and “R.A.W. (‘Cause I’m a Woman)”. “Stop Kiss” and “Satellites” premiered at the Public Theater in NYC. “Stop Kiss” was extended at the Public Theater three times and won the GLAAD Media Award for Best New York Production. She is the mother of 3 sons and lives in Brooklyn.

Sean Solme Kim

Sean Kim is President and Chief Product Officer at Kajabi and responsible for expanding the growth of the business and its value to customers globally. Previously, Sean was head of product at TikTok, the destination for mobile videos and the most visited website in 2021, where he set the strategic direction and led teams responsible for developing and growing the company’s product. Prior to TikTok, he was the global head of product at Amazon Prime where he played an instrumental role in driving customer retention for the Prime Membership.

Janice Park

Janice Park is the founder and CEO of Vuja Dé, a global creative studio producing film, television, and high-impact events that subvert culture through story. Previously, she ran Scripted Programming at Disney’s Onyx Collective as Vice President and founding executive. Prior to Onyx, she was SVP of Development and Production at Made Up Stories, the producers behind Hulu’s “Nine Perfect Strangers” and HBO’s “Big Little Lies” and “The Undoing.” Born and raised in Southern California, Janice graduated from Cornell University with degrees in Information Science and Film. She is an avid freediver and thalassophile who loves swimming with whales.

Laura Kim

Laura Hae-Lyun Kim is a seasoned accounting manager with over 15 years of experience in financial leadership. She holds degrees in Accounting and Mathematics/Physics, bringing a unique analytical perspective to her work. Throughout her career, Laura has been recognized for her dedication and impact, receiving a Certificate of Appreciation for outstanding performance and recently completed a Management Development Programme.

Outside of her professional life, she is an avid competitive tennis player and enjoys exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations. Born in Korea and immigrating to the US in 1974, she is deeply engaged in her community, volunteering as an English teacher for immigrants at a local center. Laura also finds joy in cooking with her partner and two daughters. She splits her time between Washington, D.C., and Sarasota, Florida.
