Legacy Project Video: Julius Rosen

Category: Legacy Project, Video

Julius Rosen was 18 years old when he was deployed to Korea in 1945 during World War II, just before Japan surrendered. He has clear memories of landing in Inchon and looking at a country that was devastated by war. He made the mistake of visiting Nagasaki right after the atomic bomb, which caused him to struggle with ill health all of his life. Mr. Rosen passed away 6 months after recording this video in Millis, MA, where he was born and lived for 86 years.
